Awesomely fun race. I rode through fire in a cat suit. I rode fast 'cause Scooby Doo was not far behind. The sandbox was so-so.

My first Big Win! Yeah for me. I beat Jon Clous (barely) after his overshot in the creek. Glenn- Where were you?

My first big win, couldn't wait to get on the podium.....no podium, everyone split or was watching the last race. So I grabbed my Kenda Small Block Eight out of the box and proceeded to drink beer. Thanks Andy and Mason and of course Uncle Steve for the great course and the awesome race series.

I fell in the MUD, but looked great in my Batman costume!

I wore a costume, dropped my chain a couple times, and caught my pedal on something which caused a crash, but still ended up 5th. Loved watching the Columbus Championship shit show!

I love Uncle Steve's Halloween race! Where else can Spiderman race against Ali-G and drink a beer while racing?
Started off strong, led the first lap and a half. Lack of training led to a slippage to 5th.

Sorry I did not race a Uncle Steve's Farm last year. The course was ruff, twisty and the creek bed of MUD & MUCK! The creek bed was a mix of dry, soft, muck and mud up to your knee if you were stupid enough (on lap three) to try and go down the left side. I did like the beer feeds on the hair-pin at the end of the short start/finish straight. Beer feeds on lap 2, 3, 4 and after the finish were great, but I owe Bart for covering my left side with beer on final lap when I did not take a feed from him. Thanks, it was COLD! All the costumed racers got to start up front, I started about 3/4 back and actually had a good start getting by about 6 or 7 riders going into the first hiar-pin. A good warm up really made a difference to day, especially with the chilly wind blowing out of the North, that kept a nice mostly sunny day from warming up. The creek was my down fall, with my knees trying to run though 150m of mud and muck cause alot of issues during and after the race with my left knee. Thanks goodness for 800mg of Avid after the race and ice pack when I got home. I'm looking forward towards next years Uncle Steve race!

Well done Katie winning her second cross race in a row. Well done Tony finishing 5th in the A race. Well done Chris B.-5th and Bart in their first cross races!

Can't go wrong with a race where kids are running the on-course fire and the keg!
Got a flat tire the last lap though. :-(

Had to power wash my shoes from the inside to get that creek smell out of them. Best time was the fire feature in the creek. Hands are still vibrating from the washboard grassy field. Bunny hopped about 1/2 the barriers.

DFL after I ate in on the first lap. Pulled over, rearranged my chain, drank a beer and had fun anyway. Then came the boons farm, that's another story for a mature audience. Uncle Steve's honey is the slam jam.
